Hi and welcome to grade 5!
I
hope that you are enjoying the first week back at school. I am so happy to have
you in my class this year. I know that grade 5 will be the best grade ever!
This year will be filled with fun
and challenging learning experiencesJ. You will learn many new and exciting
facts and skills as you strive to become an independent learner. So are you
ready to get started?
Some items that I recommend having
to start the year off include:
- Clean, indoor shoes (usually running shoes that can be used for gym)
- Physical education clothes- t-shirt, shorts, and running shoes that don’t leave black marks
- Ruler with cm and mm (30 cm long)
- Calculator & protractor
- Pencil crayons and markers
- Pens, pencils, eraser and 1 pencil case that can fit inside a desk
- A box of Kleenex
