The class has been learning about various systems in the body. They have been reading about cool/gross facts from the respiratory system and the circulatory systems in their Literacy in Action textbook. In their Body Systems Science textbook they have been reading about the digestive system and have conducted an experiment. They are also learning about the scientific inquiry process: Purpose, Hypothesis, Materials, Method, Observations, Results, and Applications.
There will be a quiz in a few weeks. I will send home the date in your child's agenda. They will have review notes to study for the quiz as well as their class notes.
Here is a website that your child can visit to help them to study as well. They can search each system: digestive system, circulatory system, respiratory system, nervous system, and muscular-skeletal system for videos, facts, and quizzes.
